PKR Plans Special Event with
Scotland's T in the Park Festival
June 18, 2007
PKR has planned a promising event with Scotland's
premier summer festival. The T in the Park
festival is a musical bash that runs annually in
Scotland. However, in order to spice the event
up even more, PKR has agreed to set up a full "play
money" casino that players can use for the entire
event.
This will let the music fans relax between
concerts, and socialize with other players.
Games that will be offered include roulette,
blackjack, and Texas Hold'em. There will be no
real money in circulation, just play chips that
anyone can get and play with.
PKR thinks this is a great marketing opportunity
for them because attendees of the T in the Park
festival are usual young, hip, and potentially
interested in playing online poker. PKR will
be able to get their name out to a huge potential
poker market by sponsoring this festival.
Artists that will be performing at the festival
include Avril Lavigne, Kings of Leon, and Snow
Patrol, so you know there will be huge crowds in
attendance. Tickets have already been sold
out, but PKR will be giving away 30 tickets online
via special poker tournaments and giveaways.
The event runs from July 6th through July 8th, so
if you plan to attend make sure to make travel
arrangements now, and hopefully find tickets.
See you there!
