On January 18, 2007 Neteller
announced that it was no longer accepted gambling
deposits/withdrawals from players in the United
States. This resulted from two of Neteller's
previous founders being arrested, and has caused a
freeze of all Neteller stock trading.
Although online poker may have taken
a hit in the US, PKR players are unaffected.
Since PKR doesn't allow American players anyways,
all PKR players will still be able to use Neteller
for their deposits/withdrawals.
Also, many other payment processors
such as Click 2 Pay and Epassport are still
operating in the US and foreign markets.
Although US friendly poker rooms may have problems
in the next few weeks with processing
deposits/withdrawals, PKR players will be
unaffected.
