Recently, PKR poker has released the ability to play
up to four tables at a time. PKR even allows you to
view them all in the same screen, thanks to their
special “screen-in-screen” feature.
Many people who multi-table do so to maximize
profits. Multi-tabling is a great way to increase
profits, but the problem is that many don’t know the
proper way to do so. Many people get the wrong
attitude toward multi-tabling. Have you ever thought
to yourself; “I’ll move to the next blind level,
play more tables, and just wait for premium hands?”
If you haven’t, then that’s great, but unfortunately
this is the way many people think.
I’m here to tell you that this is not the correct
thinking when multi-tabling at PKR, or any poker
room for that matter. In fact, it is best to stay at
the same blinds, if not move down one. The main
reason for this is that playing more tables than
you’re accustomed to causes your concentration level
at each table to decrease. It’s best to start low
and work up.
This may not always be the case. For example, if
you’re use to playing one table, but also chatting
on AOL or even surfing the net at the same time. If
you stick to just poker, then you will already be
accustomed to PKR’s new multi-tabling feature.
