PKR Shop

PKR has added a new way of rewarding their loyal players.  If you're a consistent player, and earn a bunch of pkr points, then you'll love this new VIP rewards system.  Instead of just accumulating points in order to buy new gear to wear at the PKR tables, now you can exchange your points for either real world merchandise, or for entry into huge tournaments.

When you enter the PKR Shop, you'll have two options of purchases that you can make: Merchandise and Tournament Tickets.  We'll walk you through both, and we'll start it off with the Merchandise section.

Merchandise Section

The PKR Shop Merchandise section holds all of the clothing and real life gear that you could ever need, with most of it being branded with the cool PKR logo.  Their first selections include a few PKR hooded sweatshirts with the PKR logo right on the front.  Then, you can get a PKR card protector for use at the live poker tables.

The list goes on and on, but one thing we really liked was the PKR custom poker table.  This is a hefty item, at 3,000,000 points, but we feel that its well worth it once you see the custom engraving work, as well as quality craftsmanship.  Also, if you get the table, you can also purchase custom PKR clay poker chips that will fit right in at your home poker game.

Tournament Tickets Section

Now, for the Tournament Tickets section.  Instead of offering tournament tickets to live events like the WSOP, PKR focuses on offering players what they really want: entry to the biggest PKR.com poker tournaments.

Some of the offerings include entry to PKR's phase tournaments, which are similar to Party Poker's step tournaments in that you can start with a very small buy-in, and work your way through a series of sit and go's in order to win a huge cash prize in the final phase.

Also, you can purchase entry to PKR's big monthly guaranteed tournaments, including the $75,000 guaranteed freezeout.  That is definitely PKR's best tournament, so don't miss out.
