Since PKR's launch in Fall '06, things have been
slow. Since US legislation prevented US
players from depositing at PKR, there was a limited
player base. Also, many computers couldn't
handle the PKR program, as the 3D graphics are
resource intensive. However, even though all
of these obstacles stood in the way, PKR has risen
to a respectable poker room and is looking to grow
even more.
Even without US players, PKR manages to have
consistent traffic at all hours of the day, at the
ring tables, sit and goes, and tournaments.

PKR is running more and bigger tournaments then ever
before, as well as running all types of sit and goes
all day long.
When PKR initially launched, the software was
brutal and required a top notch computer to run.
However, with recent updates including a "minimum
spec" option, even players on older computers can
enjoy the 3D experience that PKR offers. Plus,
since the program downloads as you play, the
download time has been reduced from 5+ hours to
under 10 minutes on a broadband connection.
As well as having a great player base, PKR
management is top notch. The people working
there are extremely creative with their marketing,
